You’re Making a Scene #1 launches at Gleesons Pub on Thursday 16 October 2025 — and it’s free entry. Curated by Charcoal Greys, this new series spotlights the most exciting emerging Irish artists in towns beyond the usual circuits, growing gig culture and building communities around fresh, original music.
The opening night is stacked: Small Church (Limerick), fresh off their debut EP Sock Puppets, blend shoegaze haze with grunge bite; BABYRAT (Cork), selected for Irish Music Week 2025, fire off razor-sharp riffs and big, sing-it-back hooks; and Charcoal Greys (South Tipp) swing from high-octane pop-punk to moody, widescreen rock with contagious energy.
Presented by Gergesa Promotions (launched by Charcoal Greys), this is about making space for new sounds—and making a scene together. Come early, bring friends, and be part of Night One.
